Exciting news at the Quilt Show

This records my time in the limelight soon after finding my quilt, "Don't it Make My Brown Eyes Blue" with an "Honorable Mention" ribbon hanging on it at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Fest.

The quilt, another of the quilts I have made with my quilt partner Cheryl, was originally made for a President's Challenge in one of the quilt groups I belong to. Everyone chose a song title with a color in it and then had to make a quilt with that as the inspiration. You may remember seeing photos of this quilt on earlier posts.

Most of the quilts entered in the same category, Traditional, were much larger so it was a thrilling surprise to find how well this quilt was received by the judges.
